Sweet and sour green beans
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- cornstarch
- water - 2 Tbsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/3 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- slices bacon - 4 item
- large can green beans - 1 item
How to make sweet and sour green beans:
Put 4 slices of bacon in cold skillet and fry until brown. Remove bacon from pan and set aside to cool. To the skillet, add the onion and saute for a few minutes. Next add vinegar, sugar, then cornstarch, mixed with the water, and salt and pepper. Bring to boiling and remove from heat. Add drained green beans and toss lightly together.
