  • envelope dry onion soup mix - 1 item
  • jar apricot preserves - 1 oz
  • bottle Russian dressing - 1 oz
  • broiler-fryer chickens, cut in pieces - 2 item

How to make sweet and sour chicken:

Mix together Russian dressing, soup mix and preserves. Place chicken in single layer, skin side up, in large shallow baking pan; pour preserves mix on chicken. Bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done, basting occasionally with the pan drippings. Serve hot with plain rice and the sweet and sour sauce. Serves 8.
