Ingredients/Components

  • water - 1/4 c
  • onion soup mix - 1 pkg
  • apricot preserves - 8 oz
  • Russian dressing - 8 oz
  • green pepper chunks optional - 1 item
  • to 8 assorted chicken pieces or boneless, skinless breasts - 6 item
  • pineapple chunks or slices - 1 item

How to make sweet and sour chicken:

Place chicken pieces in baking dish. Mix dressing, preserves, soup mix and water. Pour over chicken. Bake at 350° covered with aluminum foil for 1 hour. Add pineapple and pepper chunks. Bake an additional half hour.
