Sweet and sour chicken
Ingredients/Components
- envelope onion soup mix - 1 item
- skinned chicken white or dark
- can pineapple slices in heavy syrup - 1 oz
- bottle creamy French salad dressing - 1 oz
How to make sweet and sour chicken:
Arrange chicken in large roasting pan. Drain syrup from pineapple slices into a medium bowl; stir in French dressing and onion soup mix. Pour over chicken. Bake at 375° for 1 hour, occasionally basting. Cut pineapple slices in half and add to roasting pan; turn to coat with sauce. Bake 15 minutes longer or until chicken is done.
