  • medium onion - 1 item
  • cans cream of chicken soup - 2 item

How to make swedish meatballs:

Puree onion and green pepper in blender or food processor. (If too dry to puree, add a small amount of water.) Wet bread; do not soak. Squeeze out excess water from bread. Mix puree with bread (it will look like a green blob). Mix together meat, salt, pepper and puree mixture. Mixture should not be too wet or too dry. If meat is too wet, add more bread. If meat is too dry, add a little water. Roll meat into small balls and brown in skillet.

Sauce: Mix chicken soup with milk in saucepan until hot. Place meatballs in casserole dish and top with sauce. Cook 1 hour and 10 minutes in a 300° oven.
