- salt - 1 item
- flour
- melted butter - 3/4 c
- egg - 1 item
- nuts - 1/2 c
- apples - 1 item
How to make swedish apple pie:
Batter:1 c. flour1 c. sugar1 egg3/4 c. melted butter1/2 c. nuts Grease an 8-inch shallow baking dish or pie pan. Chop enough apples to cover bottom of pan, about 1/2 to 1-inch deep. Sprinkle salt lightly over apples.Make batter of flour, sugar, egg, butter and nuts. Blend thoroughly.
Mix 1 to 2 tablespoons sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over apples.
Spread batter evenly over apples. Bake in a 375° oven until lightly brown or about 40 to 45 minutes.
