Ingredients/Components
- garlic salt
- hamburger - 5 lb
- liquid smoke - 1 tsp
- cracked black pepper
- whole mustard seed
How to make summer sausage:
Mix thoroughly, cover and refrigerate. Mix thoroughly next 3 days. On fourth day, shape into 4 rolls. Wet hands first. Spray broiler pan with Pam or grease with shortening. Place rolls on pan and bake at 150° for 9 hours. Turn after 4 hours. Wrap in foil after they cool. Keep refrigerated or also may be frozen.
