Overnight slaw
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1/2 c
- prepared mustard - 1 Tbsp
- medium onion, finely chopped - 1 item
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- green pepper, finely chopped - 1/2 c
- medium head cabbage, finely chopped - 1 item
- to 10 pimento stuffed olives, diced - 8 item
How to make overnight slaw:
Combine cabbage, green pepper, onion, olives and salt in large bowl. Mix well and set aside. Combine vinegar, oil, mustard, sugar and celery seed in small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour dressing over vegetables, tossing lightly. Chill overnight.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Salads, Side dish.
