Ingredients/Components
- water - 1 c
- pepper - 1 Tbsp
- garlic salt
- ground beef - 5 lb
- onion powder - 2 Tbsp
- liquid smoke - 2 Tbsp
- mustard seed - 2 Tbsp
- Morton Tender Quick salt - 5 Tbsp
How to make summer sausage:
Mix together and refrigerate for 4 days. Mix each day and add small amount of water. On fourth day, form into pound rolls and wrap in foil (shiny side in). Place in low pan and add 1/2-inch water in pan and bake for 90 minutes at 325°. Keep refrigerated.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Summer, Seasonal.
