Homemade salami
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- water - 3/4 c
- garlic powder - 1/8 tsp
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- ground beef - 2 lb
- liquid smoke - 1 Tbsp
- mustard seed - 1 Tbsp
- Morton Tender Quick - 2 Tbsp
How to make homemade salami:
Combine all ingredients together. Shape like salami in two sheets of aluminum foil. Wrap and refrigerate for 24 hours. Place on baking sheet. Bake for 60 minutes at 350°. When done, prick with fork to drain excess grease. Rewrap in new foil. Refrigerate.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Meat, Beef.
