Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 2 tsp
  • granulated sugar - 1 c
  • oil - 1 c
  • soda - 1 tsp
  • margarine or butter - 1 c
  • all-purpose flour
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • cream of tartar - 1 tsp

How to make sugar cookies:

Cream margarine and sugars together. Add soda, cream of tartar and vanilla. Add oil and eggs. Mix well. Add flour last. Bake at 300° to 350° for 10 to 15 minutes on cookie sheets. Press down on cookies with a wet fork before baking.
