Sugar cookies

Ingredients/Components

• powdered sugar
• butter - 1 c
• egg - 1 item
• vanilla - 1 tsp
• almond extract - 1/2 tsp
• flour
• soda - 1 tsp
• cream of tartar - 1 tsp

How to make sugar cookies:

Mix powdered sugar and butter; add egg and flavorings. Blend in flour and dry ingredients; refrigerate 2 or 3 hours. Divide dough into 2 rolls before refrigerating. Roll on floured board 3/16-inch; cut with cookie cutter. Place on lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375° for 6 or 7 minutes.
