flour
butter - 1 c
soda - 1 tsp
almond extract - 1/2 tsp
egg - 1 item
powdered sugar
cream of tartar - 1 tsp

How to make soft sugar cookies:

Cream butter, sugar, egg and flavorings. Mix in flour, soda and cream of tartar. Roll out and cut into shapes. Bake at 325° for 5 to 7 minutes.
