Ingredients/Components
- black pepper - 1/4 tsp
- large carrots, grated - 3 item
- jumbo shells for stuffing
- large carton small curd low-fat cottage cheese - 1 item
- fresh Parmesan cheese, grated 4 to 6 oz - 1 pkg
- large jar Prego spaghetti sauce onion and garlic flavor - 1 item
How to make stuffed shells:
Cook whole box of jumbo shells by letting water boil first, pouring shells in and letting them boil for 10 minutes. Mix together the remaining ingredients except the spaghetti sauce. Drain shells well using colander and stuff shells with mixture.Line Pyrex dish with half of spaghetti sauce. Place stuffed shells in. Dot each shell with spoonful of remaining spaghetti sauce. Sprinkle with canned Parmesan cheese.
Bake at 375° for 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
You can use medium size jar of spaghetti sauce depending on how much you like. Make sure dish has 1/4-inch cover of sauce.
