Stuffed mushrooms
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 1 oz
- butter or margarine - 1/2 c
- garlic salt - 1/4 tsp
- chopped onion - 2 Tbsp
- Parmesan cheese - 1/4 c
- salt and pepper - 1 item
- large mushrooms - 36 item
- bread crumbs very fine - 1/2 c
- slices bacon, fried, drained and crumbled - 6 item
- small amount grated cheese to sprinkle on top - 1 item
How to make stuffed mushrooms:
Wipe mushrooms clean and remove stems. Melt butter and add garlic salt. Saute mushrooms for 1 minute on each side. Turn upside down on brown paper.Combine cream cheese, bacon, onion, bread crumbs, salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese. Fill mushrooms, mounding up. Heat in a 350° oven for 15 minutes. For the last 3 minutes, sprinkle with cheese.
