Ingredients/Components

  • egg - 1 item
  • garlic salt - 1 item
  • can tomato sauce - 16 oz
  • oregano - 1 item
  • crescent rolls - 2 pkg
  • pepperoni, sliced - 1/2 lb
  • frozen spinach - 1 pkg
  • sliced mushrooms - 1 c
  • red bell pepper, diced - 1 item
  • shredded Mozzarella - 4 c

How to make stromboli:

In a 9 x 13-inch pan, flatten out 1 package of crescent rolls in bottom. Thaw out spinach and squeeze out all the water. Mix spinach with egg in bowl and spread mixture over crescent rolls. Cover spinach mixture with 1 cup cheese. In a bowl, mix tomato sauce, garlic salt and oregano to taste. Spread sauce over cheese. Place pepperoni down and cover with 1 cup cheese.

Next, place sliced mushrooms down and cover with 1 cup of cheese. Spread diced pepper out and cover with last cup of cheese. Flatten out the last package of crescent rolls on top. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting.
