Strawberry squares

Ingredients/Components

• vanilla - 2 tsp
• flour - 3 c
• brown sugar
• sticks margarine - 3 item
• baking powder - 2 tsp
• oatmeal
• strawberry jam - 2 c

How to make strawberry squares:

Heat oven to 350°. Combine all ingredients (except jam). Set 1/2 of mixture aside to be used as topping. Press remaining mix into the bottom of an 11 3/4 x 7-inch pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove pan and spread jam into pan. Take remaining mixture and crumble over jam. Put in oven for another 15 to 20 minutes (bar should be brown and jam will be bubbly) or until it looks done.
