  • sugar - 1 Tbsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • melted butter - 3/4 c
  • boiling water - 2 c
  • broken pretzels - 2 c
  • carton Cool Whip - 8 oz

How to make strawberry pretzel salad:

Mix broken pretzels, melted butter and 1 tablespoon sugar together. Press into bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Cool.

Cream together cream cheese and sugar. Fold in Cool Whip. Mix well and spread over first layer. Chill for a while. Prepare Jell-O with boiling water. Add strawberries and mix well. When slightly thickened, spoon over cheese layer. Chill until set. Can be made a day ahead.
