Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 4 c
- red food coloring - 1/2 tsp
- strawberries - 8 c
How to make strawberry preserves:
Wash strawberries; stem them. Pour sugar over berries. Place over low flame until sugar dissolves. Boil for 20 minutes, or use thermometer to temperature of 218°. Pour into glasses and top with melted paraffin wax.Recipe categories: Strawberry, Condiments, etc., Jams and preserves.
