vanilla - 1 tsp
salt - 1 tsp
flour - 3 c
oil
soda - 1 tsp
eggs, beaten - 4 item
nuts
chopped walnuts - 1/4 c
sifted powdered sugar - 2 c
frozen strawberries, thawed - 2 c
Make a well in dry ingredients

How to make strawberry bread:

Sift and measure dry ingredients in large bowl. Make a well in dry ingredients. Add eggs, oil and berries. Stir and mix well. Add nuts. Do not overstir. Pour in 2 (9 x 5-inch) loaf pans, greased and dusted. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Use Cream Cheese Frosting.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 (3 oz.) pkg. softened cream cheese1/4 c. butter, softened2 c. sifted powdered sugar1 tsp. vanilla1/4 c. chopped walnuts Beat cream cheese and softened butter together until fluffy. Gradually add sifted powdered sugar, beating with each addition until smooth. Stir in vanilla; mix. Spread over bread. Sprinkle with chopped walnuts.
