Strawberry pound cake
Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- granulated sugar
- pkg - 1 oz
- milk - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- baking powder - 3 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- miniature marshmallows - 1 c
- Crisco shortening - 1/2 c
- thawed strawberries in syrup - 2 c
How to make strawberry pound cake:
Generously grease and flour bottom and sides of Bundt pan. Sprinkle the bottom with the marshmallows. Combine the strawberries and jello and set aside. In a large mixing bowl combine the remaining ingredients. Blend on low until moistened and beat 3 minutes on medium speed. Pour the batter over the marshmallows. Spoon the strawberry mixture evenly over the batter. Bake at 350° for 45 to 50 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Oven.
