  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
  • water - 1 c
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
  • strawberry jello - 3 Tbsp
  • strawberries, sliced - 1 pt
  • baked pie shell - 1 item

How to make strawberry pie:

Mix together sugar, cornstarch and water. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until thick and clear. Then add the lemon juice, salt and jello and stir to mix. Chill until thick. Place strawberries in pie shell and pour partially set jello mixture over berries. Chill several hours or overnight. Top with Cool Whip when serving.
