Ingredients/Components

  • salt - 1/8 tsp
  • fine dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
  • margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
  • fresh strawberries, washed and hulled - 1 qt
  • crushed ice - 2 c
  • instant nonfat dry milk powder - 1/3 c
  • ground red pepper optional - 1/8 tsp
  • slightly beaten egg whites - 2 item
  • can frozen pink lemonade, thawed - 1 oz
  • bottle pink champagne, chilled - 1 oz
  • medium mild yellow or white onions, sliced 1/4 inch thick and separated into rings - 2 item

How to make strawberry champagne:

You will also need nonstick spray coating. Spray a large baking sheet with nonstick coating. In a small mixing bowl, stir together the bread crumbs, melted margarine, salt and, if desired, ground red pepper. Spread crumb mixture on a sheet of waxed
