  • butter, softened - 2 Tbsp
  • sugar
  • eggs - 3 item
  • pkg - 10 oz
  • cornstarch - 1 Tbsp
  • water - 3/4 c
  • oil - 1/3 c
  • strawberry cake mix - 1 pkg
  • reserved strawberry juice - 2 Tbsp

How to make strawberry cake:

Filling:1/4 c. sugar1 Tbsp. cornstarch2 Tbsp. butter, softened2 Tbsp. reserved strawberry juice8 oz. pkg. cream cheese, softened Mix the first five ingredients well. Place into a large baking dish. Mix the next five ingredients together and pour over the first mixture. Bake approximately 45 minutes at 350° or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool. Top with a vanilla or cream cheese icing. Top that with sweetened strawberries.
