Ingredients/Components
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- oil - 3/4 c
- white cake mix - 1 item
- strawberry Jell-O - 1 pkg
- box frozen strawberries - 10 oz
How to make strawberry cake:
Combine cake mix, flour and 1/2 of thawed strawberries. Dissolve Jell-O in 1/2 cup hot water (cool before adding). Add oil, vanilla and eggs one at a time. This takes a large Pyrex and a small Pyrex pan (9 x 13-inch and 4 x 8-inch). Bake in moderate oven at 350° until done. Cool 10 minutes. Frost with 1 pound powdered sugar mixed with remaining 1/2 strawberries. Make holes in cake with fork or ice pick to allow icing to penetrate.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Strawberry.
