Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 3 item
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1 tsp
  • ginger - 1/2 tsp
  • cloves - 1/2 tsp
  • can evaporated milk - 1 oz
  • 1/2 sticks butter - 1 item
  • 13 oz - 1 lb
  • box yellow cake mix do not use cake mix with pudding - 1 item

How to make pumpkin dessert:

Mix all ingredients except cake mix, nuts and butter and pour into a 9 x 13-inch cake pan. Pour 1 box yellow cake mix over the mixture evenly. Sprinkle 1 cup chopped nuts over the cake mix evenly. Melt 1 1/2 sticks butter and pour over the cake/nut topping.

Bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes until medium golden brown on top. Remove from oven and let cool. May be served at that time or placed in the refrigerator for serving the following day.
