Peach cobbler
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 c
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- large can peaches, drained - 1 item
- soft oleo - 1/2 c
How to make peach cobbler:
Blend oleo and sugar. Mix flour, baking powder and salt together. Alternate flour mixture with 1/2 cup milk and oleo mixture. Lay peaches in bottom of pan (1 large can of peaches, drained). Pour mixture over top. In separate bowl, mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch, 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg and 3/4 cup sugar. Sprinkle over top. Pour 1 cup boiling water over mixture and bake at 350° for 1 hour or until done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cobblers and crisps, Peaches.
