- butter - 2 Tbsp
- honey - 1/2 tsp
- minced fresh onion - 2 Tbsp
- large tomatoes, peeled - 6 item
- minced fresh bell pepper - 2 Tbsp
How to make stewed tomatoes:
Once the tomatoes are peeled, cut them into wedges and set aside. In a medium saucepan, saute the onions and bell pepper in the butter briefly, until slightly soft. Add the honey and tomato wedges; cover and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Side dish, Vegetables.
