Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 tsp
- bacon grease - 2 3
- head cabbage, cut in small pieces - 1/2 item
- small amount of garlic salt - 1 item
- small amount of red pepper - 1 item
How to make steamed cabbage:
Bring 1/2 cup water to a boil; add cabbage, other ingredients and salt to taste. Cover and cook on high for 10 minutes. Stir frequently. Cut off heat and let steam for 5 minutes or until cabbage is tender. Sprinkle with bacon bits.Recipe categories: < 30 mins, Side dish, Vegetables.
