Spinach manicotti
Ingredients/Components
- pkg - 2 oz
- salt - 1 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 1 Tbsp
- beaten eggs - 3 item
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/2 c
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 4 oz
- garlic clove, minced - 1 item
- spaghetti sauce - 2 c
- Ricotta or cottage cheese - 1 lb
- large manicotti noodles, cooked and drained - 12 item
How to make spinach manicotti:
Saute onion and garlic until tender. Combine all ingredients except noodles and sauce. Fill noodles with spinach mixture. Place in a greased 9 x 13-inch baking dish. Cover. Bake at 350° for 40 minutes. Heat sauce. Pour over noodles. Sprinkle with additional Parmesan cheese, if desired.Recipe categories: Pasta, Casseroles, Manicotti.
