Ingredients/Components
- garlic powder - 1/4 tsp
- low-fat cottage cheese - 16 oz
- grated Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- pepper to taste - 1 item
- vegetable cooking spray - 1 item
- frozen chopped spinach - 2 pkg
- manicotti shells - 10 item
- tomato sauce or ready-made spaghetti sauce - 1 c
How to make spinach manicotti:
Cook manicotti shells; drain and set aside. Cook spinach; drain and squeeze out excess liquid. Combine spinach, cottage cheese, Parmesan, pepper and garlic. Stuff shells and arrange in a 9 x 13-inch pan coated with vegetable spray. Pour tomato sauce over manicotti. Bake at 350° for 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Pasta, Casseroles, Manicotti.
