Spicy marinated shrimp
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- vinegar - 2 Tbsp
- cooking oil - 3 Tbsp
- lemon juice
- dry mustard - 1/8 tsp
- pepper - 1 item
- clove garlic, halved - 1 item
- small onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- chopped jalapenos - 1 pickled
- shelled and cleaned shrimp - 1 qt
How to make spicy marinated shrimp:
Thaw frozen shrimp. In bowl, combine vinegar, lemon juice, salt, mustard and pepper; set aside. In medium skillet, cook shrimp, half of the onion slices and the garlic in hot oil over medium-high heat 4 to 5 minutes or just until shrimp are done, stirring occasionally. Remove onion and garlic with slotted spoon; discard. Add shrimp and remaining oil to vinegar mixture in bowl along with remaining onion and jalapeno.
