Spicy chinese chicken wings
Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar, packed - 1/4 c
- soy sauce - 3 Tbsp
- minced garlic - 1/4 tsp
- crushed red pepper - 2 tsp
- to 24 wings, cut apart at joint and tips discarded - 16 item
- jar Hoisin sauce - 1 oz
How to make spicy chinese chicken wings:
Place wings in a large recloseable plastic bag. Combine Hoisin sauce, brown sugar, soy sauce, red pepper and garlic in a separate bowl to make marinade. Pour 2/3 of marinade over wings; toss to coat. Refrigerate several hours or overnight. Reserve remaining marinade for basting.Preheat oven to 425°. Spray broiler pan with nonstick spray. Place wings in a single layer and bake for 30 minutes. Baste with marinate and continue baking 10 to 15 minutes more; baste again. For a more crisp skin, broil about 5 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
