Spicy cashew chicken
Ingredients/Components
- oil - 2 Tbsp
- cloves garlic, crushed - 2 item
- oyster sauce - 2 Tbsp
- boneless chicken breasts - 3/4 lb
- large lettuce leaves - 4 item
- green onions, cut into 2-inch lengths - 8 item
- to 5 whole dried red chili peppers - 1 item
- unsalted roasted cashew nuts or 3 c - 3/4 lb
How to make spicy cashew chicken:
Thinly slice the chicken. Heat oil in a wok and add the garlic. Stir-fry until it is light brown. Add the chicken and oyster sauce; cook for 4 to 6 minutes. Reduce the heat to medium. Add green onions, red chili peppers and cashew nuts. Mix well. Place the lettuce leaves on a platter and top with the chicken mixture.
