Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- allspice - 1/2 tsp
- walnut halves - 2 c
How to make spiced walnuts:
Mix sugar, water, salt, cinnamon and allspice together in heavy saucepan. Boil over medium heat until 238°, or until candy thermometer reaches soft boil stage. Add nuts and stir until sugared. Place on cookie sheet. Cool and separate into serving pieces.Recipe categories: Desserts, Fruit, Nuts.
