Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/8 tsp
- pecan halves - 1 c
- dark corn syrup - 1 c
- margarine, melted - 2 Tbsp
- 9-inch unbaked pie shell - 1 item
How to make southern pecan pie:
Place pecan halves in bottom of pie shell. Beat eggs slightly. Mix in corn syrup, sugar, margarine, vanilla and salt. Gently pour into pie shell. Bake at 400° for 15 minutes. Lower temperature to 350° and cook an additional 30 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
