Ingredients/Components
- butter - 1 tsp
- water - 2 c
- chili powder - 1 tsp
- long grain rice - 1 c
- onion - 1/4 c
- green pepper - 1/4 c
- red pepper - 1/4 c
How to make spanish rice:
In a medium to large skillet, heat butter and add onions, red pepper and green pepper. Cook until slightly tender. Add rice; mix together. Lower heat and add water. Cover and simmer 20 to 25 minutes. When done, add chili powder, mix and serve. Serves 4.Recipe categories: Low protein, Low fat, Side dish.
