Spaghetti pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 2 item
- margarine - 2 Tbsp
- chopped onion - 1/2 c
- Parmesan cheese - 1/3 c
- oregano - 1 tsp
- can tomato paste - 1 oz
- spaghetti - 6 oz
- can whole tomatoes, cut up - 1 oz
- green pepper - 1/4 c
- garlic - 1/2 tsp
- hamburg
- shredded Mozzarella - 1 item
- cream-style cottage cheese - 1 c
How to make spaghetti pie:
Meat Sauce:*1 lb. hamburg1/2 c. chopped onion1/4 c. green pepper1 (8 oz.) can whole tomatoes, cut up1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste1 tsp. sugar1 tsp. oregano1/2 tsp. garlic *Or you can use your own favorite meat sauce.Cook spaghetti; drain. Stir margarine into hot spaghetti. Stir in beaten eggs and Parmesan cheese. Form mixture into crust in a greased 10-inch pie plate. Spread with cottage cheese.
Meat Sauce: Cook beef, onion and pepper; drain off fat. Stir in undrained tomatoes and rest of ingredients. Put meat sauce into crust. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 20 minutes. Sprinkle with Mozzarella cheese and bake until melted.
