Southern pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- eggs - 3 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 1 Tbsp
- melted butter - 1 Tbsp
- light corn syrup - 1 c
- pecan halves - 1 c
- 9-inch pie shell
How to make southern pecan pie:
Arrange pecan halves in bottom of pie shell. Beat eggs. Add butter, corn syrup and vanilla. Stir well until blended. Combine sugar and flour, blend with egg mixture, pour over nuts in pie shell. Let stand until nuts rise to surface. Bake in oven at 350° for 45 minutes. Nuts will glaze during baking.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
