  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • flour - 1/3 c
  • cocoa - 1/3 c
  • melted butter - 3 Tbsp
  • light corn syrup
  • pecans - 1 c
  • 9-inch unbaked pie shell

How to make fudge pecan pie:

Combine sugar, cocoa, flour, salt, corn syrup, eggs, melted butter and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Beat at medium speed for 30 seconds. Stir in pecans; pour into unbaked pastry shell. Bake at 350° for 1 hour. Cool. For best flavor, cover and let stand 1 day before serving. If desired, serve with whipped cream.
