Southern pecan pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 Tbsp
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- eggs, lightly beaten - 3 item
- pecan halves - 1 c
- dark corn syrup - 2 c
- pastry for 1 crust pie
How to make southern pecan pie:
Preheat the oven to 425°. Line a 9-inch pie plate with the pastry. Combine the flour and sugar and add to the besten eggs, beating well. Add the corn syrup, vanilla and pecans, stirring well to blend. Pour the mixture into the shell and bake for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 325° and continue baking about 45 minutes.
