Divine divinity

Ingredients/Components

• sugar - 2 c
• vanilla - 1/2 tsp
• chopped pecans - 3/4 c
• water - 1/2 c
• dash of salt - 1 item
• jar marshmallow cream - 1 oz

How to make divine divinity:

Combine sugar, water and salt in a 2-quart measuring cup or bowl. Microwave on High 6 to 8 minutes or until hard ball stage (250°) is reached. Beat marshmallow cream in bowl with mixer and slowly add hot syrup mixture. Beat until thickened, but still glossy. Stir in vanilla and pecans. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto waxed paper. Makes 1 1/2 pounds.
