Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 6 more
- oil - 3/4 c
- soda - 1/4 tsp
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- warm water - 1 c
- yeast - 1 pkg
- buttermilk or 4 Tbsp - 2 c
How to make sourdough biscuits:
Dissolve yeast in water. Combine all ingredients. Place in covered bowl in refrigerator. No need to let rise. Bake as biscuits. Bake at 375° to 400°. Dough can be kept in refrigerator for a week to 10 days.Recipe categories: Breads, Southwestern u.s., Rolls/biscuits.
