Sourdough biscuits
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- flour - 6 c
- buttermilk - 2 c
- baking powder - 4 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- vegetable oil - 3/4 c
- dry yeast in cup of warm water - 1 pkg
How to make sourdough biscuits:
Sift dry ingredients. Add to liquids. Roll in a ball and refrigerate in Tupperware bowl. Let sit one day before using. Pinch off dough and roll in hands to make biscuit. Bake in greased pan 12 to 15 minutes or until browned. Dough will keep 2 weeks in the refrigerator.Recipe categories: Breads, Southwestern u.s., Rolls/biscuits.
