Sour cream pound cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla extract - 2 tsp
- eggs, separated - 6 item
- almond extract - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- carton sour cream - 1 oz
- sticks butter - 2 item
- flour, sifted twice - 3 c
How to make sour cream pound cake:
Cream butter and sugar together well. Beat in egg yolks until well blended. Beat in sour cream and flavorings. Sift flour and soda together. Beat into butter mixture, 1 cup at a time, until well blended. Gently fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan.
