  • sugar - 3 c
  • vanilla extract - 2 tsp
  • eggs, separated - 6 item
  • almond extract - 2 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • carton sour cream - 1 oz
  • sticks butter - 2 item
  • flour, sifted twice - 3 c

How to make sour cream pound cake:

Cream butter and sugar together well. Beat in egg yolks until well blended. Beat in sour cream and flavorings. Sift flour and soda together. Beat into butter mixture, 1 cup at a time, until well blended. Gently fold in stiffly beaten egg whites. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 1/2 hours, or until done.
