Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- sifted flour
- stick softened butter - 1/4 item
- sticks butter, softened - 2 item
- jumbo eggs - 6 item
- plus 1 heaping Tbsp - 1 c
How to make sour cream pound cake:
Beat butter until creamy. Add sugar and beat. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. In separate bowl, mix flour alternately with sour cream. Add soda and vanilla. Beat 1 minute longer. Use 1/4 stick butter to coat Bundt pan and dust with flour. Pour batter into pan. Bake at 350° for 1 hour and 20 minutes.
