Ingredients/Components
- butter, softened - 1 lb
- sugar - 3 c
- vanilla extract - 1 tsp
- flour, sifted - 4 c
- eggs room temperature - 6 item
- milk room temperature - 3/4 c
- almond or lemon extract - 1 tsp
How to make million dollar pound cake:
Cream butter; add sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour to cream mixture, alternately with milk, beat well after each addition. Stir in flavorings. Pour batter into well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Kosher.
