  • vanilla extract - 1 tsp
  • flour, sifted - 4 c
  • eggs room temperature - 6 item
  • milk room temperature - 3/4 c
  • almond or lemon extract - 1 tsp

How to make million dollar pound cake:

Cream butter; add sugar. Beat until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flour to cream mixture, alternately with milk, beat well after each addition. Stir in flavorings. Pour batter into well-greased and floured tube pan. Bake at 300° for 1 hour and 40 minutes.
