- eggs - 6 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- almond - 1/2 tsp
- small container sour cream - 1 item
- sticks of butter - 2 item
- 1/2 cups sugar - 2 item
- cups flour, sifted several times - 3 item
How to make sour cream pound cake:
Have butter, sour cream and eggs at room temperature. Sift together, flour and soda. Cream butter and sugar well. Add eggs one at a time. Mix well on low to medium speed. Add vanilla and almond. Beginning with flour, alternately add flour and cream cheese to mixture. Pour into greased and floured pan and bake at 325° for one hour or slightly longer.
