Sour cream lemon pie
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- milk - 1 c
- sour cream - 1 c
- cornstarch - 3 Tbsp
- chopped walnuts - 1 item
- lemon juice - 1/4 c
- grated lemon rind - 1 Tbsp
- butter or oleo - 1/2 c
- unbeaten egg yolks - 3 item
- 9-inch pie crust, baked and cooled - 1 item
- whipped dessert topping - 1 item
How to make sour cream lemon pie:
Combine sugar and cornstarch in medium saucepan. Add butter, lemon rind, lemon juice and egg yolks. Mix in milk and stir constantly over medium heat until thickened. Cool. Fold in sour cream and fill crust. Refrigerate at least one hour.Serve covered with whipped dessert topping and chopped nuts. Use the same day as baked as it does not keep well.
