  • sugar
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • sour cream - 1 c
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour - 3 c
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • shortening - 2/3 c

How to make sour cream cookies:

Cream together shortening and sugar. Add beaten eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Drop by rounded spoonfuls on cookie sheet, 2-inches apart. Sprinkle sugar on baked cookies. Bake for 10 minutes at 375°. Yields 100 cookies.
